"I bought my first flat in Porto de Galinhas with STI in 2022. Still under construction, for US$33,000. I sold it after a year and a half as soon as it was ready for US$58,000. I liked it so much that I already bought two more under construction." - Pedro Leite
"We purchased two units in the Nixxus II building for US$40,000 each and I am paying them in monthly installments. It was worth it because in one year they are already worth more than US$60,000. We will wait for the properties to be delivered for seasonal rentals with STI Management." - Edson David

Brooklyn, from rural Southern Ohio, grew up with a “poor dad” mentality. However, her husband, Ethan, was quite the opposite. After years of persuasive and analysis paralysis, she finally gave in to her husband’s crazy dreams and drained their savings account, and began their investing career in The Smokies in March of 2020 with The Short Term Shop. Her only regret now is that she didn’t listen to him sooner. Since that first deal, Brooklyn has fallen in love with real estate and enjoys helping other new investors as they begin their STR journey. Now they own 4 STR units and 1 LTR with the goal of acquiring more to leave behind generational wealth for their two young children and hopefully, a “rich dad” mentality to go with it.
Director of Marketing
Ethan, from Southern Ohio, was the first individual in his family to be interested in real estate and after discovering Bigger Pockets, there was no holding him back. Ethan and his wife, Brooklyn, purchased their first STR with The Short Term Shop in March of 2020 and he has been addicted to booking notifications since then. From that first deal, Ethan knew the STS was trailblazing a path in this industry and he knew he wanted to be a part of it doing whatever we could to help them. Today, Ethan and his wife own 4 STR units and 1 LTR with plans to acquire more; building generational wealth and endless opportunities for their two young children.
Vice President of Sales
Julie began investing in vacation rentals in 2017 while working full-time in the television industry. In less than a year, she had four vacation rentals in California and Tennessee, and realized her side hustle had replaced her regular income. Ready for a change, she relocated to Tennessee and began her career as a Realtor, working with investors to help them achieve the same financial freedom. She now owns nine properties, primarily in the Smoky Mountains.
